I designed this poster for a made-up lecture that spreads awareness about gang involvement among adolescent students. My goal was to have it ignite a shock-factor for the viewer in order to properly convey the atmosphere of the lecture's topic. This shock factor was achieved by bringing together both violent and innocent visual elements, such as the blood-splatter and a gun aimed at a young student's head. The black, red, white, and blue color scheme further pushes this idea of tragedy vs innocence.
