I was inspired to design and create my own sundial after an assignment required me to come up with my own project based on a series of photographs I took. This project was born after snapping a picture of a tree trunk in Atlantic Station who's shadow reminded me of a handmade sundial. The sundial includes roman numerals and the cardinal directions so one can accurately tell the time with it. I also chose to include an informational guide that explains the history of the sundial and how to use this particular one.
